To convert the product of DRI production plants in IRAN, PARS POULAD YARAN CO.LTD For the first me in the world has aempted to produce 300000 tons of cold briquee sponge iron (CBI) per year under the license of a reputable European brand.
By briquetting the sponge iron not only it could be prevented from reoxidation and reduction of metal index, But also the possibility of transportation and exportation is got executed, Meanwhile its form maintain sound and production of fines would be reduced significant. These features are important because DRI producers in the land are not equipped with HBI production platform and hence they could not export their products.
The importance of CBI production and exportation could be realized By comparison of the production and consumption rates of DRI in IRAN, The production rate always is much more than consumption and it is a major problem for them

The best replacement for steel scrape and sponge iron with about double densit

Due to its high density rapidly crosses molten slag volume and hence prevents bridges when charging

Has inconsiderable porosity and therefore inputs less oxygen into the molten bath and so produces less slag.

It is free from chemical contaminations, oil, lead, tin, copper, etc. and so produces more clean molten metal

Use of this product minimizes the usage of steel scrape which need cutting or pressing

Due to its monotone physical form, it prohibits furnace power fluctuations hence furnace components and refractories maintain more sound
